There are very few rules for a successful experience with speech therapy, other than trying your hardest and having fun.  Please talk to your child about:

 

1.)  Listening carefully

2.)  Taking turns

3.)  Practicing at home for 5-10 minutes about 2-3 times per week

4.)  Bringing your homework folder to speech class

5.)  Trying your hardest, even though it might be frustrating sometimes

6.)  Being considerate of others who are working on a difficult skill.
