Welcome

Hello and Welcome to my page! My name is Jim DeLisio, many students call me Mr. D. I am very excited this school year and to work with all the students. This is my second year at East Hanover Elementary. My classroom is room 306.

 

This will be my 27th year in education. The majority of those years have been working with elementary aged students. I have worked in a few different school districts. I was at my last school for 15 years, working with 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students.

 

A little about myself. I earned my Bachelor's degree from Slippery Rock University and my Master's degree from Penn State. I live about 5 minutes from the school with my wife, 2 college-aged daughters (when they are at home), and our dog, Crosby. I love spending time with my family, watching my daughters play tennis and watching my three favorite teams: Penn State, Steelers and Penguins. I am a huge fan of hockey at any level. I love to be out outdoors when the weather is beautiful and I enjoy both fishing and hunting as well.
